1. Oil bearing

Disadvantages: the bearing is easy to wear and has a short life. In addition, this kind of bearing has been used for a long time, the lubricating oil in the bearing sleeve is easy to leak out, the noise will continue to increase, and it will also pollute other accessories.
2. Single ball bearing
Single ball bearing (ONE Ball Bearing or Ball Sleeve Bearing) is an improvement of traditional oil-impregnated bearings. It uses a mixture of sliding friction and rolling friction, and uses one ball bearing and one oil-impregnated bearing to reduce the cost of double ball bearings. Combines the advantages of oil-impregnated bearings and double ball bearings. The disadvantage is that after the balls are added, the operating noise is increased, but it is still less than that of double ball bearings.
3. Double ball bearing
Dual Ball Bearing (Dual Ball Bearing or Two Ball Bearing) uses two ball bearings and uses rolling friction to replace traditional sliding friction, so the friction is small, no lubricating oil is required, and there is no problem of oil leakage.
The advantages are: very long service life, good anti-aging performance, suitable for fans with higher speeds.
The disadvantages are: high manufacturing costs, and the most noise.
4. Hydraulic Bearing
Hydraulic Bearing (Hydraulie Bearing) is an improvement on the basis of oil-impregnated bearings. The hydraulic bearing adopts a unique ring-type oil supply circuit, which greatly reduces the problem of oil leakage. Its life is much longer than that of ordinary oil-impregnated bearings. It also inherits the advantages of oil-impregnated bearings: low operating noise, and the work of hydraulic bearing fans. The noise is significantly reduced, and the service life is very long, reaching 40,000 hours.
5. Fluid protection system bearings
The name of the Hypro Bearing is derived from HY (Hydrodynamic wave) PRO (Oil protection system, oil protection system). It is a patented product of ADDA, a well-known radiator and fan design and manufacturer. It is also based on traditional oil A number of improvements are made on the basis of the bearing. The fluid protection system bearing and the hydraulic bearing can be said to have the same goal in different ways. The two designs each adopt some unique improvement measures, but the essence is the circulating oil circuit system, and the performance in all aspects is basically the same. Usually the product life can reach more than 50,000 hours.
6. Laifu Bearing
Rifle Bearing is mainly used for cooling fans of CoolerMaster, and it is also an improvement of traditional oil-impregnated bearings. Laifu bearings use wear-resistant materials to make high oil-containing hollow bearings, and also have shaft cores with reverse spiral grooves and oil retaining grooves. When the fan is running, the lubricating oil in it will form a reverse flow, thus avoiding the problem of oil leakage and controlling the running noise to be very low.
7. Magnetic bearing
The magnetic bearing (Magnetic Bearing) motor has a magnetic levitation (Magnetic System, MS) design. Its magnetic induction line is perpendicular to the maglev line, so the shaft core and the maglev line are parallel, so the weight of the rotor is fixed on the running track. The almost unloaded shaft core is propped up in the direction of the anti-magnetic levitation line to form the entire rotor suspended on a fixed running track. Therefore, magnetic levitation is actually only an auxiliary function, not an independent bearing form. Specific applications have to be matched with other bearing forms, such as magnetic levitation + ball bearing, magnetic levitation + oil bearing, magnetic levitation + vaporized bearing and so on. This technology has not been recognized by European and American countries.
8. Vaporized bearing
Vaporized bearing (VAPO Bearing) is improved by Sunon magnetic suspension technology, which is to strengthen the hardness of oil bearing bushing, and adopt special material, and its inner surface is also specially processed, which overcomes the problem of oil bearing. The shortcomings of high temperature resistance, coupled with magnetic levitation technology, greatly extend the service life.
9. NANO Ceramic Bearing (NCB)
NANO Ceramic Bearing (NCB) is still an oil-impregnated bearing in essence, which was first introduced by Foxconn in its products. The traditional oil-bearing fan wears severely during use, and its reliability is low when it is used for a long time. Nano-bearing effectively overcomes this problem: ceramic bearing technology uses special polymer materials and special additives to fully integrate, the core of the bearing is fully made of special halo dioxide materials, made by die and sintering process, and the crystal particles are 60um in the past. Down to 0.3um, it has the characteristics of firmness, smoothness and wear resistance. Nano-ceramic bearings have strong high temperature resistance and are not easy to volatilize, which greatly extends the service life of the fan. The properties of nano-ceramic bearings are similar to ceramics, and the more they are worn, the smoother they are. According to tests, the average service life of fans using nano-ceramic bearings is more than 150,000 hours. This technology is actually not a real nanotechnology, and the materials used are not real nano-scale materials. It just uses the word nano to attract attention.
